Antenna Software, Inc., enabling business transformation through compelling mobile experiences, today announced it has been named a finalist for the CTIA Emerging Technology Awards in the category of Best Enterprise and Vertical Market Solution and has been nominated for the 12th Annual Mobility Awards sponsored by MobileTrax, a leading market research firm that focuses on the wireless and mobile market.
On the heels of its win for Best Mobile Enterprise Product or Solution at last month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, the Antenna Mobility Platform™ (AMP) continues to receive high praise from industry experts, pundits and end-users. Accommodating both business-to-consumer (B2C) mobile applications and employee-facing applications, AMP provides an end-to-end mobility solution that allows organizations to not only build an application once and deploy it across any combination of devices, but also centrally deploy, manage and secure these apps across all devices.
“If you think of all the different constituents, devices, network carriers, sources of information, app stores and other variables, that puts a heck of a burden on the enterprise,” said Jim Hemmer, President and CEO of Antenna. “With a robust mobility platform like AMP, apps are deeply rooted and designed to weather any storm including new policies, new devices and new users to help our customers and partners execute a cohesive and extensible mobile strategy that is simply not found in standalone mobile apps or mobile development toolkits.”
The CTIA Emerging Technology Awards
Created in 2006 the CTIA Emerging Technology Awards program has celebrated and promoted some of the most innovative wireless products and services in the areas of consumer, enterprise and network technology. Finalists in 14 categories will be judged on innovation, functionality and technological impact with winners announced at the International CTIA Wireless 2011 conference award ceremony on March 23 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Antenna users, peers and fans are also encouraged to cast a vote for AMP during the “Best Online Pick” voting period happening now through March 21 and during the conference, March 21-23 for “Best in Show.” To cast your vote for AMP, go to ctiait.ctia.org/.
The Mobility Awards
In its twelfth year, nominees for the esteemed Mobility Awards are selected by the industry’s top mobile and wireless press and analysts. The awards are spearheaded by Dr. Gerry Purdy of MobileTrax, a globally recognized authority on mobile computing and wireless data communications. The 2011 Mobility Awards will be given out in more than 50 different categories and sub-categories representing the products and services that have made, or will make, the greatest impact on the industry. Antenna has been named to the Enterprise Mobility Platform category and will join other nominees at the Wireless Innovators Dinner on March 22 in Orlando.
