Wixom, MI, United States, 2011/01/24 - St. Catherine of Siena Academy, an all girls’ Catholic High School, announces the appointment of Terry Polakovic, of Denver, Colorado, to its Foundation Board of Directors.
Terry Polakovic is the Co-Founder, Executive Director, and Chief Editor of ENDOW (Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women), a Catholic educational organization. ENDOW brings women together to discover their God-given dignity and to understand their role in humanizing and transforming society. Utilizing small study groups, conferences and retreats, ENDOW cultivates faith, fellowship, and formation among women. ENDOW also provides educational programs for teens: Their True Beauty Revealed, A High School Study. This program educates young women about their authentic femininity based on Pope John Paul II’s writings regarding the New Feminism.
Founded in 2003, ENDOW is one of the fastest growing Catholic educational organizations in the world today with over 6,500 women having participated in the program. Terry Polakovic has spent nearly 25 years working in the non-profit arena in the areas of management, fundraising, and volunteer coordination. Prior to founding ENDOW (endowonline.com), she was the Chief Executive Officer of Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust for the Archdiocese of Denver. In addition to leading ENDOW, Terry has served as a board member for numerous non-profit organizations. She is currently serving as a trustee for The Catholic Foundation for the Roman Catholic Church in Northern Colorado and also is a member of the Leadership Council for the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center in Boulder, Colorado. She and her husband, Mike, have two young adult children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and exercising.
