Tiki Tan customers will be glowing for a good cause this holiday season: Fisher’s premier tanning salon is hosting a “Tans for Cans” food drive, offering clients major discounts on services in return for their donation to local hunger-related charities.
By bringing three or more non-perishable cans of food to Tiki Tan, customers will receive $5.00 off any tanning service during that visit including spray tans in the area’s first Mystic HD Spray Booth between December 1st and the 31st.
Items donated during the promotion will be delivered to Hamilton County’s own local non-profit organization: The “Come-To-Me” Food Pantry. The Fishers United Methodist “Come-To-Me” Food Pantry provides food to people in need, advocates for the hungry and educates the public about hunger-related issues. Since its inception in 2007, it has helped thousands of Hamilton County individuals and families. “The Food Pantry serves over 400 people a week, that are living right here in Hamilton County. Everyone needs to do their part to help support quality programs like that, particularly in this economy,” stated Colby Zepik, owner of Tiki Tan. The food pantry is open each Wednesday from 1 to 7pm.
Tiki Tan’s “Tans for Cans” initiative promotes community involvement, fundraising for local charities and the mobilization of Tiki Tan’s employees to make a difference in Hamilton County. Customers are encouraged to bring in as many canned goods as possible; however, the $5.00 discount will be limited to that particular visit throughout the duration of the program. Customers are welcome to return multiple times and enjoy the discount at subsequent visits with additional donations.
