Ji2, Inc. announces the introduction of the King Hit XG1060, the next generation of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) industrial equipment from YEC Co. Ltd. (Japan) with twice the processing speed of the existing equipment.

Current HDD equipment typically operates at 1.5 gigabits per second and, often limited by adapting bridges to convert from the bus format to the HDD format, and maxes out at 6-8 gigabytes of information transfer per minute. YEC’s new devices operate at a native 3.0 gigabits per second designed to reach 18 gigabytes per minute.

“Although only a limited number of hard drives have been produced that will challenge the maximum speed capacity of the new YEC equipment,” cautions Ted Fujisawa, CEO of Ji2, “these hard drives will become common place in the next few years so Duplicators need to prepare for these speeds now and eWaste and Asset Recovery companies need to prepare very soon.
