Openet, the most innovative provider of Subscriber Optimization Software to tier one communications and media service providers, has won the 2010 Software Exporter Award as part of the annual awards program presented by the Irish Exporters Association (IEA).
The Export Industry Awards are open to all companies operating in Ireland. Award categories include exporters in the following sectors: multinational, service, software, manufactured goods and innovation. IEA judges awarded Openet the top distinction in the software category due to the Company’s success providing its subscriber optimization software to tier one wireless, wireline and cable operators throughout the world.
“This award win underscores Openet’s global market traction in 2010,” said Niall Norton, CEO of Openet. “The Company has driven the creation of more long-standing relationships with tier one operators around the globe, and has executed deployments in Indonesia, the Netherlands and South Africa, among other regions. These factors have resulted in Openet’s most profitable year since its founding, highlighting the Company’s place among the best in the Irish software industry.”
The Software Exporter Award is Openet’s second trip to the winners’ circle for this program. In 2008, the Company was named the Innovation Exporter of the Year, and currently has 85 customers in 22 countries. This year’s award speaks to the innovation and effectiveness of Openet products and services, and the Company’s ability to directly address customer needs time and again.
