The World Heath Organization (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) are all part of the solution that AgroMicron is bringing to Southeast Asia and other parts of the world to further the identification and outbreak control of H5N1 Avian Flu, SARS, and BSE.
Last month AgroMicron's Board of Directors announced that they have negotiated the contract that gives them licensing rights in Southeast Asia to the Biomedical Technological Support System which is currently being used in the United States and is linked in to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Even though this technology has been available for quite awhile, it is taking a considerable amount of time to get these systems to their respective markets. AgroMicron still stands firmly by its beliefs that although vaccines are being developed and tested, rapid early detection is the only way to stop the migration of H5N1 Avian Flu, and other deadly viral pathogens. Airports and immigration boarder crossings are still the most vulnerable when it comes to viral containment. It is the fervent belief of AgroMicron that sufficient funds will not be made readily available by governments to combat this impending pandemic, but that the private sector will be ultimately responsible.
Currently AgroMicron sees governments primarily in Southeast Asia attempt to fund millions of dollars to have their own proprietary system(s) within the boundaries of their own countries. By diplomatic negotiations with these countries, along with demonstrating this ready, tried and tested system, governments are now beginning to see the benefits of sharing this critical information globally.
Thankfully companies like AgroMicron feel that this governmental response to tackling such a significant global problem by sharing its database will accelerate rapid early detection and well as deploying rapid response teams to quell and quarantine any impending viral outbreaks.
