Long Beach, CA, United States, 2010/11/08 - Pleasant Valley Baptist Church recently upgraded their video system worship workflow to incorporate Apantac’s MT HOOD signal processing and extension solutions.
Specifically, Pleasant Valley Baptist Church is using Apantac’s VGA-4-SER units, four-port splitters / extenders/ receivers with audio and monitor outputs, and VGA-1-R units, single-port long distance VGA receivers with audio and monitor outputs.

TrueLight Productions, a ministry of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty, Missouri (Kansas City), and volunteer production group, facilitates the weekend services and manages all of the video gear at PVBC. Together, they are enhancing ministry and connecting people through video, audio, lighting, and graphics.
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church is using the VGA splitters / extenders / receivers to facilitate distribution of HD video and graphics to projectors and flat panel displays in their main Worship Center auditorium. The Apantac MT HOOD extenders / splitters are housed in the video control room along with all of Pleasant Valley’s seamless switching, monitoring, playback and distribution devices. The VGA receivers are magnetically mounted to the rear of the displays in the worship auditorium.
Video feeds from an Echolab Prima MVS6 Video Switcher with three-camera configuration as well as HD graphic content from a MAC Pro running Pro Presenter 4 are distributed to four Panasonic projectors and seven Panasonic flat panel displays in the main Worship auditorium. Two of the projectors display content on the side screens for the audience and the other two projectors provide content to confidence screens for the speakers.
The cascaded system of VGA extenders transmits the video signals between the video sources and the display devices forming a distributed network of video delivery. The signals are extended over Cat5/5e/6 cables eliminating the need to use bulky video cables.
