Pharmacy OneSource, software-as-a-service provider of Sentri7, a real-time infection prevention surveillance, documentation and reporting system, is pleased to announce a complimentary webinar on positive deviance with Dottie Borton, Infection Preventionist at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, in "Positive Deviance: Another Tool for Infection Prevention."
Most healthcare personnel respond that hand hygiene and standard precautions are essential in preventing infection, however, observations of behavior don't always match the expected actions. Positive deviance offers another approach or tool to achieve sustainable behavior changes that can decrease and prevent transmission of infection. Borton will provide an overview of positive deviance as well as some outcome examples of implementation at one healthcare facility.
