The ISO TS 16949 certificate specifies the quality system requirements relating to designing, developing, manufacturing, assembling and servicing products designed for the automotive industry.
“We are all the more proud of gaining this certificate as we are the only production facility in Poland and CE to have it,” commented Ruud Jacobs, president of the board, PPG Polifarb Cieszyn SA. “PPG Polifarb Cieszyn also has the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications of integrated management systems that prove the high quality standards and compliance of the site to demanding health and safety and environmental legislation,” added Jacobs.
ISO/TS 16949 is the ISO Technical Specification that unifies the existing American (QS-9000), German (VDA6.1), French (EAQF) and Italian (AVSQ) quality system standards for the global automotive industry. It has been developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc (JAMA).
