The Quilt membership is made up of 28 of our country’s advanced regional non-profit network aggregators who collectively pass traffic for a significant portion of U.S. university and college sites and other educational institutions. Through its Commodity Internet Services Program, The Quilt aggregates the buying power of its participants to obtain the best value for Internet services.
Prior to its selection, tw telecom had to meet specific parameters required by The Quilt members including national pricing, number and location of public and private peering points; availability of advanced services and backbone and support services.
