ADP ®, a leading provider of HR, payroll and benefits administration services, received two national honors this month which recognizes ADP's commitment to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Working Mother magazine named ADP to its 2010 "100 Best Companies" list. ADP also received a 100 percent survey rating from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2011 Corporate Equality Index, distinguishing the company as one of the Best Places to Work for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) employees.
ADP was selected by Working Mother in the magazine's 2010 annual 100 Best Companies list for its dedication to family-friendly benefits - specifically ADP's commitment to work-life balance, retention, and corporate equality. Now in its 25th year, the 100 Best Companies program draws attention to the significant contributions of working mothers and to the companies that recognize the importance of these essential members of the workforce. This is the second consecutive year ADP has received this honor.
ADP is also proud to be recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRCF), the nation's largest LGBT civil rights organization. This year, ADP again received a 100 percent rating in the HRCF's 2011 Corporate Equality Index. The 2011 Index recognizes that ADP has a diverse workforce that includes associates regardless of employees' sexual orientation and gender identity or expression.
The HRC's CEI report, released each fall since 2002, provides an in-depth analysis and rating of large U.S. employers and their policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees. In the 2011 Corporate Equality Index, 338 businesses achieved the top rating of 100%, compared with 305 with top ratings in the 2010 Corporate Equality Index – an 11% increase.
"ADP is proud to be recognized by two organizations that understand the importance of an inclusive and productive work environment," said Benito Cachinero, ADP's Corporate Vice President of Human Resources. "At ADP, we are committed to fairness, equality and inclusion. Being honored by Working Mother magazine and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation reinforces our continued efforts to attract and retain people with diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives – and to offer a work environment that is productive to their development, growth, and well-being."
Profiles of the 100 Best Companies, as well as national comparisons, are in the October issue of Working Mother and at workingmother.com. The 2011 Corporate Equality Index report is available at hrc.org/cei.
