McCar Homes is pleased to announce that Big Builder magazine ranked the company as one of the top 100 homebuilders in the nation. McCar Homes ranked as #40 in the 2006 annual poll, up nine places from last year’s list. The results of Big Builder Magazine’s annual list have been published in the May edition.
“While I do not rest on the past, it is a tremendous accomplishment to move up from the 49th builder to the 40th builder in the nation,” said Keith McSwain, CEO of McCar Homes. “While we are still growing as a company, McCar Homes is very proud of the company my grandfather and father started 50 years ago, but most importantly my father and grandfather are proud of the company we call McCar Homes today.”
Big Builder has published the Builder 100 annually since 1984, ranking home builders by the number of new homes they deliver. The builders' market share is derived by dividing Builder 100 deliveries by the sum of new-home sales and for-sale condominium completions, as released by the U.S. Census Bureau.
