Korenix brand new JetBox 8180 is an Intel Atom-based Communication computer with low power consumption and 1GB DDR2 RAM system memory - ideal embedded solution for high performance industrial communication networks. The new industrial PC supports DVI with optional dual display capability for easily distributing video in field site monitoring applications. Additionally, a Gigabit port is available in the device for high bandwidth and high speed uplink connectivity of large video streams. For more usability and communication flexibility, other interfaces, such as RS232/422/485 serial and 4 USB ports are integrated in JetBox 8180 to connect keyboards and mouses, access and security control devices, etc.
To extend the connection and performance of the device, it is further designed with 2 antennas to be used for optional wireless expansion of the system with miniPCIe and SIM slots. Users can greatly benefit from these ports to have mobile or wifi communication and location services.
The JetBox 8180 also provides dual storage expansion capability : the CF card for optional Windows XP and the SATA Hard Drive for video and other data storing. As a result, it ensures system development and further allows users to benefit from the ready-to-use and simple functionality of the computer in field site applications.
