SugarCRM, the world’s fastest growing customer relationship management (CRM) company, today announced continued record growth in Europe for the third quarter of 2010. Spurred by incredibly strong demand for Sugar 6 – CRM Made Simple – the company saw major increases in its customer and partner momentum, and has tripled its EMEA staff to support demand.
The company added more than 165 new customers in the region in the period, spanning multiple industries and company sizes. New customers include leading European firms such as Nurango Gmbh, Ticketscript BV, and Nantes Metropole Developpement (NMD), a French firm dedicated to developing businesses in the Nantes region.
“At NMD, we manage relationships with companies that decide to locate in our area (West of France). We wanted a true CRM tool to replace the software that we’ve used for 10 years,” states Alexandre Karp, marketing project manager, Nantes Metropole Developpement. “Already being strong supporters of open source, SugarCRM was a natural choice.”
Revenue from the EMEA region increased 50% year-over year for the period, driven by SugarCRM’s expansive network of channel partners. SugarCRM partners are integral to the company’s global expansion strategy, and continue to outperform expectations. The company added more than 15 new European partners in the third quarter, including new value-added reseller relationships with Boost, GFI Informatica, LxPN, SMILE Open Source Solutions, and Ultima Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş.
