Dr. Adrian Eberle has been promoted to Executive Vice President by Swiss-based DKSH and will lead the Global Business Unit Technology with immediate effect. In his new function, he will be supported by Claus Bressmer, who has been appointed to Deputy Head of Business Unit Technology and who will continue to focus on business development, overall growth initiatives, and strengthening relationships with key suppliers. The management team headed by Adrian Eberle will concentrate on rapid and successful strategy implementation in all country operations, further strengthening the Business Unit’s position as the leading provider of Market Expansion Services involving technical solutions for capital investment goods and analytical instruments.
After completing his studies in Mechanical Engineering with a Master Degree at the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Switzerland, Adrian Eberle started his professional career at The Boston Consulting Group. In parallel, he obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. In 2005, he joined Hilti as Vice President Marketing, and in 2008, he joined DKSH as General Manager Business Unit Technology in Taiwan. He was subsequently promoted to President of DKSH Taiwan.
After graduating with a Master degree from the University of St. Gallen in 2000, Claus Bressmer joined DKSH in Zurich, Switzerland, and was then stationed in Hong Kong and Bangkok, Thailand, taking care of business reengineering and development. In 2007, Claus Bressmer was promoted to Vice President Technology in Thailand, and in 2009, Head of Business Development for the Business Unit Technology group-wide.
