VistaVu Solutions, a leading provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions for field service companies, announced today that expansion of its Houston office has begun. Effective today Roy Garcia will be heading up the Houston office with plans to expand later this year.
Garcia has been in the software business since 1996. Beginning as an Account Executive with Ceridian, an HRIS company that delivered human resources, payroll, tax filing and benefit software and services to mid to large enterprises, he sold, developed and managed the largest accounts for the Houston District. As head of Client Services in Houston, Ceridian ranked number one in Client Satisfaction out of 32 District offices, managing approximately 200 key and large accounts.
In 2002 he made the switch to the oil and gas industry at The Bristow Group. While at Bristow Garcia developed many key relationships for the company, and in addition had an opportunity to publish an industry paper specific to the services that Bristow provided.
In 2006 Garcia returned to his true passion, software, but remained within the oil and gas industry at Transap/Oildex and was appointed VP of Sales in November of the same year. Transzap/Oildex is a data exchange management system that delivers a SAAS solution to oil and gas operators throughout the United States and Canada. He doubled the company’s sales force within 2 years as well as delivering key sales operation improvements like: a full account management program utilizing LAMP process management; purchased and implemented SalesForce.com; developed a FTE for a systems consultant; developed the existing sales pricing and proposal methodology; and worked extensively with marketing to deliver the current addressable market for sales lead generation.
