Like the saying goes, some things get even better with age. Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC today celebrates its 104th birthday, commemorating the founding of the company on August 27, 1906 in San Francisco, California.
Out of the ashes of a severe earthquake, Colbert Coldwell, and later Arthur Banker, believed in bringing ethics and integrity to their real estate company and began a legacy of excellent service for people buying or selling homes. Coldwell Banker Real Estate employees at the company’s headquarters location celebrated the occasion with a home-shaped birthday cake.
“I take great pride in knowing that Coldwell Banker professionals continue to embody a heritage of service excellence by being trustworthy and knowledgeable during both prosperous and challenging times,” said Jim Gillespie, CEO, Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, who has been with the company for 35 years. “Building on the pillars of our business, we are continuing to advance by innovating and embracing technology that helps people find information about homes anytime and anywhere.”
“As the oldest member of the Realogy family, we today congratulate all who proudly represent the Coldwell Banker brand in markets all around the world,” said Richard A. Smith, president and CEO, Realogy Corporation, the parent company of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC.
