JetCon 2301 outstands from other media converters, by supporting 4 forwarding switch modes, which makes it a perfect solution for various applications, depending on your transmission speed and size preferences.
For applications, where users need to support up to 148810 packets per second and maintain network efficiency by filtering abnormal packets, the JetCon 2301 configured in Switching Converter mode is the ideal solution.
By configuring the converter in Modify Cut-through mode, users can provide enhanced error checking and avoid possible collisions.
In Pure Converter mode extreme low data forwarding latency can be achieved by simply converting signal between copper and fiber ports without packet check.
And at last, users can choose JetCon 2301 in Converter mode with Auto-Change-forward function to enhance transmission by changing packet forwarding speeds.
Furthermore, the JetCon 2301 with Single-mode and Multi-mode fiber optic ports are available for users to achieve respectively 2KM and 30KM distance transmission in their specific applications.
Active Warning through Link Loss Forwarding Technology
JetCon 2301 provides remote Link Loss Forwarding function to forward link status changes for alerting remote or central management systems. It also provides alarm relay for informing users in case of port or power event detection. As a result, users can save time by fast reacting to the situation and, thus, reducing loss caused by link failure.

The EN 50121-3-2 railway EMC compliant JetCon 2301 features 1.5 K Hi-Pot Isolation protection and -25~75oC op. temp. range in its IP31 grade enclosure to resist severities and provide outstanding performance under harshest environments. JetCon 2301-w with -40~75oC extended operating temperature range is also available for extremely wide temperature deployments.
