Prem Chand, CEO and Founder of Milestone Technologies, Inc. (MILESTONE), one of Silicon Valley’s most successful IT service companies, has named Mr. Jim Glueck as its Chief Operating Officer.

Jim Glueck leads business operations at MILESTONE. His responsibilities include the design and integration of strategic initiatives that will help guide the company’s strong continuing growth.
Initiatives include leading MILESTONE’s technology-focused business planning; leveraging MILESTONE’s growth opportunities with clients and business partners; guiding MILESTONE’s technical service delivery best practices and applying client-support performance metrics, market analysis and alignment.
“Jim will touch all departments at MILESTONE,” continues Chand. “He will serve on our executive management committee and will regularly interface with our Sales, Marketing, Finance and Technology teams. While working holistically with the entire company, Jim’s main area of concentration will be with our Service Delivery team. This is our business unit that is interfacing with clients every day.”

At Cisco, Jim Glueck led several advanced technology support programs, designed to re-engineer the technical services delivery process. His work at Cisco has helped them to build-out an effective organization with a governance model, which has enabled growth and improved Cisco market presence and customer satisfaction, worldwide. MILESTONE has engaged Glueck in an analysis of its own service delivery practices.

Before Cisco, Jim Glueck was the Chief Executive Officer and President of a privately held call center solution company, located in Santa Clara, California. This experience will prove invaluable, because last year MILESTONE installed their own call center, offering remote chat and web-based IT support for clients from their Fremont, California facilities.
Jim’s career has also included five (5) years with Hitachi Data Systems. As Executive Vice President / General Manager, Glueck was responsible for customer service, three (3) technical assistance centers and for worldwide Professional Service delivery for this multi-billion dollar enterprise.
Jim Glueck has had similar leadership positions with other large enterprise firms (Amdahl and IBM) and a few start-up companies during his 25-year career in technology. His unique experience leading small, mid-sized and large organizations is of high value to MILESTONE, who itself is growing.
