In his new role, Kobel will be responsible for identifying opportunities for JPL to expand its core strengths of communications consulting, creativity, technology and production. Kobel will lead the development of internal capabilities required for expansion, establish external relationships to help JPL provide more comprehensive client solutions and lead outreach to clients offering JPL’s expanded capabilities.
Prior to joining JPL, Kobel was Vice President, Marketing, Communications and Strategic Planning for Platinum Equity, a multi-billion-dollar global mergers and acquisitions company, based in Beverly Hills, CA. In his position with Platinum Equity, he was responsible for optimizing the performance of all facets of marketing within Platinum’s acquired companies. Additionally, Kobel served as head of marketing for many of Platinum’s larger corporations in North America and Europe and guided the companies through the formation of their strategic business plans.
Prior to his position at Platinum Equity, Kobel was Director, Corporate Communications with Synertech and held positions in marketing and communications with Capital Blue Cross. Kobel has a degree in mass media from Central Pennsylvania College and has 25 years experience in the industry. He lives in Millersburg with his wife and two children.
