Customers, partners and prospects can expect top-class user speeches from industry and research, innovative solution concepts, hands-on courses and inspiring discussions. Experienced ITI engineers and software developers will give an insight into enhancements of the upcoming release SimulationX 3.4. For the past 20 years ITI simulation tools and engineering solutions have been leading in the field of system simulation worldwide. For engineers and scientists the ITI Symposium has gained a reputation as being the ideal meeting place for exchanging solutions, and answering individual questions in connection with virtual engineering. Moreover the Symposium has a focus on questions in the field of real-time modeling and functional test in product development.
This year’s Symposium comes up with a program full of unique lectures about top-class customer applications and innovative solution concepts presented by industry experts and experienced ITI engineers. In the center of the user speeches will be solutions and concepts on current challenges in research and industry. In addition, experienced ITI engineers will review new cooperations that complete the SimulationX platform as well as features and highlights of the upcoming release SimulationX 3.4.
For the first time ITI also offers a Tutorial Day on November, 23rd, 2010. Leading industry experts, ITI engineers and software developers give an insight into their experiences with the tool. The main focuses will be the use of Modelica, enhancement of the SimulationX libraries, and model optimization.
Within the scope of the accompanying exhibition participants can thoroughly acquaint themselves with current applications, new products and solutions and discuss branch-specific questions directly with the exhibitors.
In line with top-class speeches of nameable companies and research institutes the ITI Symposium will start with the introduction of the ITI Management. Besides current challenges and perspectives to the development of the standard simulation tool SimulationX the participants can expect a review to the past 20 years of ITI. Again in this year ITI could attract well-known guest speakers across all industries for the Symposium: BMW, Bureau Veritas, Daimler, Fraunhofer Institut, Schaeffler and Volkswagen provide insight into their simulation experience, e.g. focusing on topics like Modelica drive train models in SimulationX, simulation of drive train vibrations of heavy trucks, and active roll stabilization systems.
For networking being an important component of the symposium the participants can continue with their discussions in a classy atmosphere, make new contacts or simply let the day end with an exclusive evening event. “In the occasion of our 20th company anniversary we want to go on a journey with our conference guests ‘back to the future’ and revue the most important milestones of the ITI history. With this event we want to take the opportunity to thank our customers and partners for the successful cooperation”, explains Dr. Andreas Uhlig, ITI Managing Director.
More details about the 13th ITI Symposium, including additional information on the Tutorial Day, the exhibition, and early bird registration are available online on itisim.com/symposium.
About the ITI Group
Founded in 1990, ITI (itisim.com) is now one of the leading software and engineering companies for system simulation. The company develops simulation software for engineers and scientists in industry and education. The development of new products supports ITI with comprehensive engineering and programming services. Training courses and workshops of the ITI Academy complete the portfolio. More than 600 customers worldwide from the automobile industry, power generation, precision instruments, aerospace, mechanical engineering and shipbuilding count on ITI simulation solutions. The ITI customer base comprises well-known companies such as ABB, BMW, Baker Hughes, Caterpillar, Continental, Daimler, Hitachi, Husky, Liebherr, Mitsubishi, Nikon, Schaeffler, Siemens, Sumitomo, and Volkswagen. Apart from the Headquarters in Dresden, Germany, ITI is present with subsidiaries in France and Great Britain. With distributors in more than 35 countries, ITI maintains a broad network of independent sales and service partners for its simulation software SimulationX.
SimulationX (simulationx.com) - The Driving Force in System Simulation defines the standard of modeling, simulation and optimization of complex technical systems. The software models system components from a multitude of domains including their mutual interaction and feedback on one platform. This significantly distinguishes SimulationX from any other kind of CAE software (FEM, CFD, MBS). SimulationX is the standard in software for evaluation of the interaction of all components in technical systems. It is the universal CAE tool for modeling, simulation and analysis of physical effects – with ready-to-use model libraries for 1D mechanics, 3D multi-body systems, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, thermodynamics, electrics, electrical drives, magnetic as well as controls – post-processing included. SimulationX fully supports the Modelica® language and offers a wide range of open, comprehensive CAx-interfaces.
