Ortiz & Schick is excited to announce that attorney Heather E. Carpenter has accepted an invitation to become a partner in the firm. Heather has been with the firm since its formation in 2006, having practiced with Michael Ortiz and John-Paul Schick at a prior law firm since 2002. Specializing in complex business litigation, surety law, corporate formation and maintenance, and commercial real estate, Heather’s experience represents the solid expertise found throughout the O&S team. Heather is a graduate of Wake Forest University Law School where she was on the Moot Court Board, the Tulane National Moot Court Sports Law Team, and was a teaching assistant for the Masters of Law L.L.M. program. She also received the award for Best Oralist and was a semi-finalist in the 2000 Moot Court Competition at Wake Forest University Law School.
