Bullet Solutions has participated in the event Future Match at the CeBIT trade fair. CeBIT was held in Hanover, Germany, from the 2nd to the 5th March 2010. It is the world's biggest technology fair, the main meeting point for buyers, sellers and users of information and communication technology globally.
Future Match brings together companies with common interests through the “MyMatch” algorithm. This algorithm suggests each organization various profiles of other companies, potentially interesting for collaboration. According to the organizer of the event, Bullet Solutions was one of the companies with the highest number of scheduled meetings.
Bullet Solutions has considered the participation at CeBIT very important to enhance contacts and partnerships in projects of cooperation. CeBIT gives an image of prestige and credibility to the players of the IT markets, both national and international, increasing their brand awareness.
During the Future Match meetings, Bullet Solutions has established contacts with various organizations to seek an international partner for the expansion of its services. Specifically, Bullet Solutions is searching for a partner to distribute internationally the product Bullet Timetabler Education University, a software application for managing schedules, directed to higher education institutions. The Bullet Timetabler Education University is a pioneering product for the automatic generation of school timetables, and its high technology allows an optimization of all resources involved.
After CeBIT, Bullet Solutions concludes that there have been very positive developments in the market of process optimization technologies. The meetings that Bullet Solutions had with organizations in several areas (including several higher education institutions), from countries like the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Poland, Portugal and Spain, confirmed the growing concern of enterprises with the speed and effectiveness of their operational processes.
The awareness of the importance of efficiency and productivity in businesses is increasing. The solution to these issues is to implement software applications that automate and optimize long and cumbersome manual processes, such as: the preparation of work schedules and assignment of workers to different shifts, the generation of school timetables, the optimization problems related to production, among others.
Despite the enormous efforts of companies, the truth is that there are great difficulties in developing the algorithms and the logic necessary to produce software optimization applications, or even to find technology partners with proven expertise in the area. Bullet Solutions fills a gap in this market, presenting complete and proven effective solutions.
CeBIT is the largest European technology fair, held annually in Hanover, Germany. This year CeBIT was held in March, with 4157 companies from 68 countries, including Portugal.
The main theme for CeBIT was "Connected Worlds", referring to the Internet and the importance of the web 2.0 technologies. CeBIT also introduced new pavilions this year: the "Broadband World", to demonstrate solutions to cope with the increased traffic over networks, and the "CeBIT Sounds", dedicated to new technologies for the music industry.
