The National Algae Association, a 501(c)6 whose mission is to fast-track commercialization of algae, invites US Private Equity, Mezzanine and Senior Debt Lenders to attend an educational algae biofuels production and market oppotunities workshop. Attendees will review and discuss CAPEX and OPEX financial models and detailed 'algaenomics,' along with biofuel and numerous co-product opportunities. The workshop will be held on July 27th at the Lone Star College Training and Development Center in The Woodlands, Texas from 8:00am - 5:00pm.

The NAA Engineering Consortium has produced preliminary design specs for a 100-acre build-out in response to the 100 Acre Challenge issued at the beginning of 2010. Many scale-up issues have been identified and are being addressed before construction begins.
