Digitrad, a provider of the IVR (Interactive Vocal Response) and billing platform Stand4u, announces today that it has strengthened its partnership with US based Teleplus Group, Inc., a pioneer in the field of GSM service for international travellers by adding VoIP capabilities to its existing Vocalyz™ branded wireless service.
Stand4U, which is a web-based IVR platform that allows for the efficient immediacy and accuracy of account provisioning, data access and billing transfers, will be co-located in the Los Angeles-based TelePlus facility. Digitrad will also give TelePlus the opportunity to integrate the Santa Clara, CA based TelTel PsipTN platform(Public SIP Telephony Network) to embellish Vocalyz™ with suite of services including, presence, Instant Voice, Instant Text and call forwarding.
Vocalyz™ is a specialized telephony-based service for the mainstream international traveller. The service consists of services accessed via a wireless travel phone that offers 24/7 live, in-language, private assistant that functions as an interpreter, concierge or emergency dispatch, in the user’s native language. These services, which are accessible today on the GSM network, will now be provided to users through a SIP softphone client from Teltel, extending the customer life cycle of the services. Subscribers billing will be provided in both environment GSM and IP by Stand4u.
