iVdopia, the largest video and rich media mobile advertising network, has won the prestigious Red Herring 100 North America Award, which recognizes the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the North American business region.
Chosen by the Red Herring editorial team from thousands of candidates, the winners were selected according to technological innovation, management strength, market size, investor record, customer acquisition and financial health. Red Herring has built a tradition of identifying the top new and innovative private technology companies and entrepreneurs. Previous winners have included Google, eBay and YouTube.
“2010 was an especially tough year with the global economic situation,” said Alex Vieux, Chairman of the Red Herring 100 North America 2010. “Still, many great companies produced innovative, amazing products that made the selection process difficult. iVdopia distinguished itself as an emerging company that is truly pushing the innovation envelope. Much like past Red Herring 100 honorees, we expect great things from iVdopia as well.”
Red Herring, a global media company uniting the world's best technology innovators, announced the winners at the conclusion of the Red Herring North America 2010 conference in San Diego. The selection process included an extensive review of applicant qualifications and on-site presentations to the editorial team.
“This is a great honor for iVdopia, which was chosen from a pool of so many worthy candidates,” said Chhavi Upadhyay, Chief Operating Officer of iVdopia. “Though this award is an acknowledgement of the innovation that has become synonymous with iVdopia, we like to think of this recognition as a vote of confidence for the new breakthroughs that you can expect from us.”
