Rapid Recovery, the largest refrigerant recovery company servicing the United States, announces new service locations based in Stockton and Sacramento, California..

Rapid Recovery will be opening their sixteenth location; their third new location of 2010. Rapid Recovery, a genuine service company to HVAC and demolition contractors as well as in house facilities departments and government agencies, has succeeded in becoming the country’s largest refrigerant recovery company. Rapid Recovery began operations in 2002 and now boasts far more than double the service locations than other refrigerant related companies. “As the HVAC industry continues to realize the burdens and expenses associated with having their highly skilled technicians recover refrigerant, the more growth there is for us. We allow contractors to re-purpose their technicians’ time to productive money making work. Outsourcing refrigerant recovery to Rapid Recovery allows for more profitable jobs; that is why we are seeing the growth that we are” said Les Rhynard with Rapid Recovery.

It seems remarkable in this current economic climate that Rapid Recovery could continue to open new markets. With six new locations opening last year and three so far in 2010, Rapid Recovery is changing the entire attitude toward refrigerant recovery, taking it from an expensive chore to a profitable and easy aspect of contractors jobs. According to Rhynard, “The success we are experiencing comes back to our service level and the documentation that we provide. We firmly believe that once a contractor tries our program they will immediately recognize the value added aspect..”

Another unique aspect of Rapid Recovery is the franchise model they utilize. This allows for local ownership in each market. Contractors now have a local owner they can deal with rather than a “customer service representative” thousands of miles away. The proud and excited owner of Rapid Recovery’s newest location of Stockton and Sacramento, California is Dan Cline. Dan has previously been the owner of a refrigeration contracting and service company. With 27 years in the refrigeration industry Dan knows first hand about the expenses associated with refrigerant recovery due to lost time, equipment maintenance and expensive and yet inadequate off-the-shelf recovery units. Dan then found Rapid Recovery and realized that outsourcing the refrigerant recovery was so much more efficient that he began to look at shifting his focus. “I have seen firsthand the result of this service provided by Rapid Recovery and am very excited to have the opportunity to become involved in this business,” said Cline. Dan saw such value in the offerings of Rapid Recovery’s service as a refrigeration contractor that he has left the refrigeration contracting and service business and now solely provides refrigerant recovery services to his former competitors. “I left the contracting business in order to devote my full attention to providing the best in refrigerant recovery services to the many, many contractors that are looking for a competitive edge in the business. I’ve been there and know that outsourcing the refrigerant recovery is high on the list,” said Cline.

Rapid Recovery (raprec.com) offers refrigerant recovery and abatement nationwide through its franchise network. Their customer base includes refrigeration and air conditioning contractors, refrigeration wholesale distributors, demolition contractors, DOD, landfill administrators and in-house service departments. They provide on-site refrigerant recovery solutions, including job-site refrigerant recovery, recovery cylinder service, and refrigerant disposal and documentation services. Rapid Recovery can be contacted by phone.
