Chevy Chase, MD, United States, 2010/04/30 - Cammack LaRhette recently published a Nolan Financial article 'Enhancing Executive Benefits at Tax-Exempt Universities: The Ideal Solution - A 457(f) Plan'. Nolan’s article discusses use of Nonqualified Plans at tax-exempt educational institutions.
Cammack LaRhette Consulting, founded in 1958, recently published a Nolan Financial article 'Enhancing Executive Benefits at Tax-Exempt Universities: The Ideal Solution - A 457(f) Plan', which appeared in its client-focused publication 403(b) Curriculum Series. Cammack LaRhette Consulting is a national firm specializing in Retirement, Health & Welfare, Human Resources and HR Technology Services solutions.
Nolan’s article details how leading educational institutions may rely on nonqualified retirement plans to supplement their qualified retirement plan benefits for senior university personnel and executives. Tax-exempt universities have two nonqualified plan alternatives – ‘Eligible’ 457(b) and ‘Ineligible’ 457(f) plans. Although viable, 457(b) plans are subject to IRS cap limits under IRC 457(e) (15) limits, and hence do not work as an alternative for an employer funded SERP. Plan sponsors can, however, develop flexible supplemental 457(f) retirement plans to create comprehensive and competitive packages for senior university employees on a selective basis.
Michael E. Nolan, President & CEO, has over 20 years experience in the design, funding, communication and administration of nonqualified executive benefit plans. Nolan’s articles have been published in The Journal of Compensation and Benefits, Directorship and Barron’s. Nolan is a frequent speaker at industry meetings such as the annual convention of The Advanced Association for Life Underwriters and The American Bankers Association.
