In a bid to demonstrate real world fuel cell products for real world portable and stationary applications, UPS Systems will be demonstrating the following products:
BOC Hymera
The UK’s first commercially viable hydrogen fuel cell generator package, comprising a 150W hydrogen fuel cell powered by an ultra-compact lightweight 300 bar hydrogen cylinder. Hymera is suitable for a wide range of remote prime power applications where access to mains power is not available or where other power sources such as fossil-fuelled generators are either prohibited or simply unsuitable.
SFC EFOY Pro 2200
A 90W methanol fuel cell, which, in some circumstances, can save users up to 90% in operating and maintenance costs. The EFOY Pro 2200 is a plug and play, prime power solution for a range of portable applications including traffic signalling, surveillance and telemetry.
IRD generator
Offering environmental benefits and extended runtimes, this DMFC system offers up to 900W of power and is suitable for all prime and standby power applications, where batteries or diesel generators are used today.
Hydrogenics HyPM
A 30kW hydrogen fuel cell suitable for standby power applications in computer rooms and office environments. The fuel cell unit from Hydrogenics can be linked in parallel to generate 60kW of power to protect an organisation’s mission critical systems.
UPS Systems REMO
In addition to the fuel cells on display, UPS Systems will be showcasing its innovative REMO remote monitoring solution. REMO is a unique solution that provides remote monitoring for the majority of UPS, generators and fuel cells. It gives IT managers peace of mind by monitoring low fuel levels in diesel generators, battery charge levels, system temperatures and overloads, as well as mains grid failures and other critical information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Delegates attending the seminar will have the chance to see many of the units working, and put their questions directly to manufacturers and the UPS Systems fuel cell team.
