Stout Risius Ross Advisors, LLC (SRR) announced today that its client, Everett Smith Group, Ltd. a Milwaukee-based privately held investment company has sold its interest in Dickten Masch Plastics, LLC to Patmian LLC, a privately held company based in New York.
SRR served as the exclusive financial advisor to Everett Smith in connection with this transaction.
Dickten Masch is a leading manufacturer of highly technical plastic injection molded components that serves the electrical, building product, power tool, small engine, and automotive industries. The Company has two facilities in Nashotah, Wisconsin and a third plant in Ankeny, Iowa.
The president and CEO of Everett Smith Group, Mr. J. Douglas Gray, said, “We sought the sale of Dickten Masch to allow us to pursue other strategic initiatives within our broader organization. I am confident Patmian, along with Steve Dyer and the management team, have the industry knowledge and commitment for Dickten Masch to continue to be successful in the plastics industry.”
Mr. Michael D. Benson, Managing Director and SRR’s deal team leader said, “While the overall deal market is challenging, Dickten Masch was a very attractive company for potential buyers because of its diversified customer base, the breath of its manufacturing capabilities, and its strong management team.” The deal team also included Mr. David M. Evatz, a Director at SRR with extensive experience in the plastic injection molding industry.
