Memphis, TN, United States, 2010/04/19 - Gartner Wireless, Networking and Communications Summit attendees get first peak at Asentinel Mobile.
Asentinel®, a technology-driven telecom lifecycle management company, unveiled Asentinel Mobile, the industry’s first mobile application for Telecom Expense Management at the Gartner Wireless, Networking and Communications Summit in San Diego, CA. Asentinel Mobile will allow users access to inventory, invoices, orders and business intelligence on the go.
The mobile application is the newest tool from Asentinel and an industry first. Asentinel Mobile allows customers remote access to Asentinel 6.0, a patented comprehensive global TEM application. Asentinel 6.0 serves as the central repository for all telecom assets and provides clients with an automated process and application to manage their entire telecom lifecycle.
“Asentinel Mobile lets an executive approve invoices from the road, a telecom manager access dashboards and invoices in real-time during a meeting with a carrier or a technician search inventory and manage orders while at a remote site,” said David C. Perdue, CEO of Asentinel. “In other words, it allows them to truly manage their telecom environment from anywhere, more efficiently than ever before.”
Asentinel Mobile offers flexibility to the variety of users that typically utilize Asentinel 6.0 within the enterprise. Features include customizable dashboards, real-time access to an unlimited number of customer defined inventory fields, status of MACDs and the ability to approve invoices. For those choosing Asentinel’s Managed or Professional services as well as Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) customers, Asentinel Mobile provides total transparency to the actions taken on their behalf.
“Technology drives everything we do at Asentinel, and Asentinel Mobile is no exception,” said Jason Fisher, Chief Software Architect and creative power behind Asentinel 6.0. “By creating native mobile applications instead of doing a mobile website version, we allow our user to access data faster because it will be cached in the application. We also added features like a global search that isn’t an option available in a traditional database.”
Asentinel Mobile is currently compatible with iPhone and Android phones. A version for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile will follow. Asentinel will be displaying Asentinel Mobile April 19-21 in Booth O at the Gartner Wireless, Networking and Communications Summit.
