AEGON Religare Life Insurance, Mumbai wanted to develop an Intranet that would provide their employees with a robust collaboration platform. The intended goal of this intranet was to create an effective and secure medium for communication and collaboration, enhanced knowledge management & process management.
Based on AEGON Religare’s expectations, requirements and the vision for a competitive and functional experience, eDynamic deployed a successful Intranet with cutting edge functionality on Microsoft SharePoint platform. With intranet in place, AEGON Religare’s employees will now be able to create, share and publish documents from a unified location. This new intranet also ensures consolidated information and improved workflow which will enable users from different teams/functions to coordinate and communicate regardless of geographical boundaries.
The new Intranet solution not only saves time, effort & expenses but also provides a robust platform for collaboration & communication which was one of the primary goals of this initiative. It also provides the bigger picture on organization wide activity by aggregating & presenting information at a convenient & accessible central location.
The system was launched by the CEO Mr Rajiv Jamkhedkar. Due appreciation was received from Srinivasan Iyengar, CIO AEGON Religare.
