“Effective electrical safety is the product of an ongoing practice of proper electrical maintenance procedures,” said Moore. “Having a comprehensive understanding of NFPA 70E should be a priority for those responsible for on-the-job safety.”
Moore’s presentation, “Safety Related Maintenance Practices,” examined a prime area in which NFPA 70E compliance issues can occur due to improper or neglected maintenance of electrical wiring, components and equipment, which can significantly increase the likelihood of workplace injury or death.
