The Florida Aquarium is hosting a members only birthday party for its 15th anniversary.

“This is my birthday gift to The Florida Aquarium and a great opportunity to help children bring their love for aquatic animals to life with art,” says López whose avant-garde style attracts a wide range of art lovers. “Chalk art is unique in that it is an accessible form of art that anyone at any age can have fun with and create something beautiful.”

The Florida Aquarium is expecting more than 500 children to attend. The event will take place from 6-9 p.m. and is free of charge to individuals and families with a membership to The Florida Aquarium. The birthday celebration is also open to friends of members who can come as a guest for only $5. In addition to the birthday party celebration there will be many activities and exclusive previews to The Florida Aquarium’s official anniversary month coming this May.

In addition to participating in the exclusive birthday celebration, López’s latest art series called, “Transcendent Strokes,” will be on display in The Florida Aquarium’s Taylor Great Room starting this week.
