TiroMedia, an innovator in the Digital Signage arena, has released a new version of the Content Management System (CMS). The CMS can be used to manage one or thousands of players from a central location. The system can be accessed by any web browser and does not require monthly fees or a long-term commitment.
CMS Version 2.4 offers multiple new features:
- Music Slideshow Support: This feature applies to the TMP-N4 and TMP-N6 players. It allows for image slideshows to be displayed with music playing in the background.
- Enhanced support for smartphones: The web-based CMS can be accessed and managed by most modern smartphones. This allows administrators/users to easily access network status and update content using only a phone.
- Enhanced White Label/Re-branding: The CMS can be now easily re-branded which allows system integrators to build a brand with minimal investment. Furthermore, the CMS contains all the management features needed to run a complete SaaS solution.
- Expanded Media Support: The CMS can now support a long variety of movie formats such as: Flash (FLV), QuickTime (MOV), etc through integration with a freely-availably media converter. Once the converter is installed, the CMS can handle all conversions automatically. This allows the players (TMP-N6, TMP-N4, etc) to play a variety of movie types.
- Movie Thumbnail Support: Once the converter is added to the CMS, all movie media files will be displayed with thumbnails. This would allow users to quickly identify movie files. This feature is already available for images.
The new version of the CMS is available to new and existing customers with a current upgrade agreement.
