HighRely Inc launched the new Avionics Reliable Certification Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Staffed by fulltime Systems DERs and Software DERs, HighRely’s Reliable Certification Center provides DO-178B and DO-254 avionics software and hardware certification. What is an avionics software DER? Designated Engineering Representatives (DER) are FAA registered avionics engineers with years of experience and formal qualification to inspect, consult, and approve avionics software, hardware, and systems.
HighRely’s avionics software DERs are approved for Level A – Level D DO-178B avionics. These Software DERs work with HighRely’s avionics software engineers and avionics software managers to provide DO-178B software requirements, DO-178B software design/code, and DO-178B software testing. The HighRely DO-178B Systems DERs also are expert in DO-254; these DO-254 DERs are essentially Level A Systems DERs with approval authority for Level B, Level C, and Level D of DO-254.
