HighRely Incorporated announces today that it has formally released JumpGap 178B, JumpGap-178C, and JumpGap-254, packages to expedite FAA DO-254 and DO-178B certification. HighRely's JumpGap allows avionics software and hardware manufacturers to ascertain the gap between their current avionics product/processes and the attributes necessary for DO178B and DO254 certification.
JumpGapthen bridges the gap to ensure D0-254 and DO-178B certification. Consisting of a preliminary onsite DO-254 Gap Analysis, DO-254 Training and/or DO-178B Training, DO-254 TNI Checklists, DO-254 Process/Plans, and DO-254 completion strategy by registered FAA DO-254 DERs.
The FAA and industry experts are currently working on DO-178C and clarifications to DO-254 including input from HighRely's DERs. The goal of saying industry time while making flying safer is a double-edged sword. Clearly, JumpGap-178B for DO-178B and JumpGap-254 for DO-254 are major steps toward effectively meeting this demand.
