Video Arts has teamed up with York-based learning technology company MyKnowledgeMap for this exclusive offer which combines Video Arts training videos with MyKnowledgeMap’s rapid e-learning tool, Compendle.
The new solution offers benefits both to customers of Compendle (compendle.com) and Video Arts (VideoArts.com). Compendle customers will be able to enrich their e-learning topics with Video Arts extensive library of training videos. Video Arts customers will have much more flexibility in how they use the video content by utilising Compendle’s user-friendly e-learning authoring functionality. The solution is available to colleges, universities, private training organisations, and corporate institutions.
The Video Arts library contains topics covering all areas of business – everything from health and safety to leadership and management. They often feature household name stars, like John Cleese, Ricky Gervais, Dawn French and James Nesbitt. Each video is provided as a bite-size learning chapter which Compendle customers will be able to use and reuse as much as they want.
Martin Addison, Managing Director at Video Arts said: “A growing number of organisations are looking to create their own e-learning courses. Making your own high quality video is not easy but now you can incorporate our award-winning video clips, YouTube-style, to give your e-learning courses greater impact and make them more engaging. This is the first time we’ve opened up access to our content in this way and we’re delighted to be partnering MyKnowledgeMap in this initiative.”
Rob Arntsen, CEO of MyKnowledgeMap, said: “We are delighted to be working with Video Arts to offer brand new training opportunities. By offering Compendle with Video Arts library of cutting edge training videos, we build on both our respective strengths and can offer rapid e-learning functionality which is truly unique.”
This is the first offering of its kind involving Video Arts materials – they have not been integrated previously with any other rapid e-learning tools. Initially, these special Compendle accounts are available to educational institutions and corporate organisations and are delivered as a site licence.
MyKnowledgeMap and Video Arts previously worked together in 2001 when MyKnowledgeMap repurposed Video Arts e-learning for CD-ROM.
