Bryant & Stratton College, a pioneer in career education since 1854 and the premier provider of online associate’s degrees, has announced the launch of nine new online certificate programs. On average, students can earn a certificate in just nine months, preparing them for positions in business, healthcare, human resources and criminal justice fields. Courses are online and led by credentialed instructors. Additionally, students who successfully complete one of the new online certificate programs can articulate their course credits upon acceptance into a corresponding Bryant & Stratton College degree program.
“Jobs that only require a high school diploma are disappearing, so to compete for positions in this modern economy, everyone needs to make sure they have up-to-date skills,” said Scott Traylor, Bryant & Stratton’s Director of Admissions for Online Education. “These new online certificate programs offer students an opportunity to quickly gain the training necessary to qualify for positions in some of the fastest growing fields.”
Bryant & Stratton College Online is currently accepting enrollments for the following new online certificate programs for classes beginning March 3, May 5 or June 23, 2010:
• 21st Century Business Management;
• Accounting;
• Certified Financial Planning (CFP®);
• Criminal Justice;
• Healthcare Management;
• Human Resources Management;
• Medical Office Technology;
• Medical Reimbursement (Billing);
• Medical Reimbursement & Coding.
Tuition for the new online certificate programs ranges from $2,500 to $5,000, which for most programs includes the cost of books. Affordable payment plan options are available. Once students successfully complete their certificate program, they receive a free career coaching session with an advisor to discuss their career aspirations and how their certificate and future education can help them achieve their goals. On Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. (EST), Bryant & Stratton College Online is hosting a free webinar to provide prospective students an opportunity to learn more about several of the new online certificate programs.
In addition to the recently launched online, instructor-led certificate programs, Bryant & Stratton College Online also offers self-paced certificate programs that provide a variety of career training. Students can begin these certificate programs at any time and have eight weeks to complete them. Tuition for these certificate programs ranges from $299 to $1,999.
All Bryant & Stratton College Online certificate programs are offered in conjunction with the college’s Professional Skills Center, which also provides training and development programs, including licensing, study aids and continuing education opportunities.
