Philby has served as interim finance director for the company since October 2009.

After studying at Nottingham Trent University, Philby began his career at Clayton & Brewill Chartered Accountants. He progressed to partner status before starting his own consultancy practice, Philbys Chartered Accountants, in 2006. He joined CDS Global in 2009.
