Grid-Tools and Parasoft have engaged in a technical partnership to offer a compelling joint solution for SOA testing and web application testing. Grid-Tools Ltd, an Oxford, UK based test data management software company, and Parasoft, a California based SOA testing solutions organization, have come together to launch a ‘data driven’ repository-based solution for web application testing.
What is ‘data driven’ SOA testing?
The combined tools offer an integrated approach to managing the data that is fed into and returned from requested and stored responses. Data pools of responses will be managed in the Grid-Tools Datamaker™ central repository, allowing the results to quickly be checked against expected results. Data requests and results can also be compared over time, offering the ability to quickly identify if anything has changed. Data from the Parasoft solution can be stored in the Datamaker™ repository, allowing users to freeze the response data; a very important feature when testing multiple SOA requests. The user will be equipped with an enterprise-wide, end-to-end SOA testing solution.
