Chef Jason Zeller, who has held a number of high-level management positions during his sixteen-year career in the restaurant and hospitality business, has been named Executive Chef of The Hamlet Country Club in Delray Beach.

A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, Chef Jason received his formal training in New York where he worked with award winning Chefs David Burke, Marcus Samuelson, and Mathew Kenney.

Chef Jason completed his career in Manhattan at the Stanhope Hotel’s Café “M” and Nica’s Restaurant before being offered a position at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach. Most of his tenure there was at the five star five-diamond restaurant where he was a part of a management team lead by James Beard Award winning Chef Hubert Des Marais.

From the Four Seasons, Chef Jason went on to become the Executive Chef of the Ibis Golf and Country Club where he spent more than three years catering to their 1600 members serving more than 1000 meals daily. He then went on to become the Executive Chef at The Surf Club in Miami Beach. While there he catered to some of Miami’s top socialites with events such as the Debutante Ball entertaining 600 guests with a five-course menu. His experiences continued when he became Executive Chef at The Turtle Creek Club in Tequesta before coming to The Hamlet Country Club.

According to Kevin Kenny, now managing the Hamlet’s Food and Beverage operation, “Chef Jason comes to us with a repertoire of globally inspired recipes and experiences that he plans to share with his new ‘family’ at The Hamlet. The management training he received at the Four Seasons contributes to the management style that he practices today.”
