The 4th annual C-Level @ A Mile High, March 11, 2010, is the largest gathering of technology professionals in Colorado, with more than 800 technology professionals expected to attend and 50+ “Celebrity” C-Suite executives. The event’s purpose is to stimulate business-to-business opportunities between Colorado technology companies and executives.

The “Celebrities” are the event’s special guests who attend the events to meet hundreds of businesses. In addition, these C-Level executives also offer future exclusive meetings for attendees who bid for that time through the Silent Auction.

“Celebrities” are decision makers for technology projects within their companies, and when extended an invitation to participate as a “Celebrity” they are asked what projects and budget dollars they are planning for 2010. A cumulative budget of more than $900M from “Celebrities” will be spent on technology projects including but not limited to: ERP implementations, storage, data warehouse solutions, Sharepoint implementations, CRM, managed security, web application development, business intelligence analytics, .Net migration, ETL solutions, data/application exchange, server upgrades, telephony upgrades, VOIP, and virtual agent technologies.

“The software, hardware, and IT services industry is not only one of the largest industries in the state, but it serves as the engine for other important industries, like finance, energy, real-estate, bioscience, aerospace, and all industries,” said Su Hawk, President CSIA, Colorado’s Technology Association. “This event gives creators, users, buyers, and sellers across all industries an opportunity to meet one another. Whether they meet business partners, clients, vendors, mentors, advisors or new prospects, attendees are building relationships with peers in their community, and that’s good business.”

Since the program’s inception in 2007, CSIA’s C-Level @ A Mile High event has stimulated hundreds of relationships and resulted in tens of millions of dollars of work between Colorado companies.

The proceeds from C-Level @ A Mile High help CSIA’s work to ensure a healthy business environment including legislative and regulatory issues. It will also support CSIA’s first-ever Industry Roadmap for the software, hardware and IT services industry in Colorado to provide strategic direction for our state.
