Shermco Industries, an industry leader in electrical power system maintenance, repair, testing and training, announced today a plan to actively distribute key electro-mechanical components manufactured by Carbone of America, renowned for their high-performance products.
“We are very proud to carry the Carbone brand,” said Kevin Alewine, Director of Renewable Energy Services. “Upgrading equipment with their high-performance materials and components results in improved reliability and uptime for both electrical generators and motors.”
Shermco plans to distribute Carbone power and control collector rings and brushes for general industry applications and to the wind industry for wind turbine generator upgrades and maintenance. The new Carbone components will offer better designs, better functionality and better construction, which will translate into savings for potential end-users.
