Access Distribution, a General Electric company and a leading value-added distributor of complex computing solutions, and Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ: ALDN), the leader in Software Digital Rights Management, identity management and content security solutions, today announced a distribution agreement. Under the agreement, Access Distribution will distribute Aladdin Knowledge Systems' enterprise security solutions to authorized value-added resellers in the U.S. and Canada.
Access Distribution will offer eSafe, Aladdin's content security software, and the company's eToken line of products for authentication and password management. eSafe is an integrated, gateway-based antivirus, spyware control, Web browsing security and application filtering solution. The eToken product family includes a comprehensive set of security applications and authentication devices, as well as a management system for enhanced enterprise security.
"Adding the proven security solutions from Aladdin, Access Distribution is further enhancing its network security offerings and giving resellers more ways to grow their business by helping end user customers safeguard critical data," said Heather Allen, director, Network Security Practice, Access Distribution.
The Aladdin enterprise security solutions extend and complement Access Distribution's existing portfolio of network security offerings that help resellers secure their customers against data theft, loss of intellectual property and other critical security risks. Aladdin's products are geared towards protecting critical applications and data against identified and potential future complex security threats, which will help Access Distribution's resellers take advantage of this growing industry segment.
