The British Philippine Outsourcing Council have commissioned a survey to determine current perceptions of The Philippines as an outsourcing council among British businesses. Manila now employs more people in outsourcing than any other city eclipsing even the larger Indian cities. The Philippines as a whole now conducts 14% of total British outsourcing and has been particularly successful in the call centre sector. The survey looks at how The Philippines rates against other major offshore locations and breaks down these results against key criteria including the availability of staff, English ability and the quality of middle management. Participants in the survey will receive a free copy of the report and be automatically entered into a draw to win £300 in holiday vouchers. The survey finishes on January 15th and the report will be available on February 11th, 2010. The survey compares user perceptions of The Philippines against India, Africa, Eastern Europe and The Caribbean. To take part in the survey, visit the British Philippine Outsourcing Council website.
