ACT Conferencing is closing out 2009 with compelling channel revenue growth generated in North America and Europe. ACT, a global provider of audio, web and video conferencing services, gained 87 percent in channel revenue in the past year alone.
Regionally speaking, agent-generated channel revenue in North America hit a 255 percent increase and agent-generated channel revenue in Europe is up 110 percent compared to this time last year. ACT credits its dedicated agents worldwide for its significant channel revenue growth.
One such agent is idea! Communications based in Denver. “In a down economy, we anticipated 2009 would bring a bit of turbulence as it has to so many businesses,” said Frank Ferdowsian, president, idea! Communications. “What we discovered rather quickly is that businesses need quality conferencing services now more than ever to maintain consistent communication. Companies that had never used video conferencing services are now conducting meetings via video every week. The reliance on conferencing services intensified so rapidly that we’ve been busy meeting customers’ needs all year. We thank ACT for helping us meet the demands of our expanding customer base.”
Another partner that has greatly contributed to ACT’s channel success is Mark Robinson, president of oneconference, based in London. “We would not be nearly as successful as we have been over the past year without ACT’s tireless support and superior product offering,” said Robinson. “We are continually impressed with ACT’s dedication to helping our business succeed.”
Looking forward to 2010, ACT believes its reseller agents will encounter even greater success in the new year. While ACT is actively looking to expand its partner program, the company is committed to growing its partner base at a steady pace to ensure consistent support for all of its partners.
“These numbers speak volumes for the success our partners have achieved in 2009,” said Marina Bogard, chief sales and marketing officer, ACT Conferencing. “We are extremely proud of our channel program and our service offering, but in this case we are most proud of our partner selection. Our partners share ACT’s common belief that customer service means everything – and this is what makes us all successful.”
