The story of a beautiful maiden waiting for true love’s kiss to wake her from a 100-year slumber takes to the Mainstage of the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn, Sunday, Jan. 10, during 2 and 7 pm. performances of Tchaikovsky’s “Sleeping Beauty” by the Moscow Festival Ballet.
Moscow Festival Ballet was founded in 1989 by legendary Bolshoi Ballet principal dancer Sergei Radchenko and incorporates classical elements of the Bolshoi and Kirov Ballet companies. The company has produced other timeless classics, including “Giselle, “Don Quixote,” Paquita” and “Carmen” and has performed in countries worldwide.
Tickets are $46 for adults, $44 for seniors and $36 for College of DuPage students and children age 17 and younger.
