Korenix extends the JetBox 9400 series of intelligent layer3 VPN router computers by releasing the new JetBox 9432-w embedded Linux Ready VPN system designed with serial interfaces to deliver maximum flexibility to IPC providers. In addition to 4 LAN, 1 WAN, 3 USB, 8DIO and serial console ports, JetBox 9432-w is equipped with 4 additional RS232/422/485 ports allowing users to connect to the access and security control devices, such as card readers, cameras, speakers etc. and to remotely manage them through Ethernet in flexible ways.
Combined with IP-31 rugged fan-less design, including vibration/shock resistance and -40~80℃ wide operating temperature, JetBox 9432-w ensures the reliability and high performance of large network infrastructures in severe industrial environments.
With complete Layer3 routing capabilities, the JetBox 9432-w efficiently manages extended network groups in industrial environments. IPC providers can benefit from the VPN functionality of the system to expand networking capabilities and reduce system costs by establishing long-distance and secured network connections over WAN. In addition to the VPN functionality, the JetBox 9432-w series also incorporates DMVPN protocol, which allows effectively building and managing dynamic secure overlay networks.
The JetBox 9432-w is a performance optimized embedded Linux computer for front-end industrial control applications. It is capable of executing customized Linux programs or Java programs through the built-in JavaVM. Linux beginners can benefit from the user-friendly web UI—Webmin for easily manipulating the network or device related settings. Moreover, with the Korenix Auto-Run customization setting on SD card, users can develop their own customized industrial control applications making the industrial network management easier and more flexible.
All this features compressed in a tiny RISC-based computer improve the usability of JetBox 9432-w in industrial domains while allowing users to easily build their enhanced integrated networking solutions.
