Dubai Investment Properties (DIP), one of the leading real estate developers in UAE, today announced that the commissioning of services for their latest commercial development, ‘Single Business Tower’, has begun with DEWA, Etisalat, Civil Defence and Dubai Municipality confirming the dates for inspection. DIP’s latest commercial development will be energized and ready with all services running by mid-December 2009.
The services being commissioned at ‘Single Business Tower’ include setting up the internal and external cabling work for Etisalat landlines and GSM connectivity, A/C systems, elevators, fire alarm systems, access control systems, power and lighting systems, sound systems, external window-cleaning systems and waste disposal systems. The testing of BMS (building management system) is being done currently. Apart from the above services, the testing and commissioning of DEWA connections and all MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) services has also been completed.
“Single Business Tower is in its last stages of completion. Most of the services have been set up and tested and we are awaiting final inspection from DEWA, Etisalat, Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence authorities by next month. All our systems will be up and running by mid-December and we will be able to begin our leasing process. We have followed all the green building guidelines to make Single Business Tower energy efficient and have invested in the latest and best technologies to compliment a functional business environment,” says Ani Vladi, Property Manager of Single Business Tower.
